Welding & Tee Department: Welder/Fabricator
Hours: 6:00AM - 4:30PM | Monday - Thursday
Essential Job Functions:
Production welding
Fabricating tees and reducing tees
TIG and machine welding
MIG welding a plus
Ensure that all procedures and activities are conducted in a safe manner
Education Level: Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and may require some welding certification.
Required Skills:
Must be reliable
Good communication
Welding skills | Certification in welding
Able to set up and operate welding machines, tee presses, and punch machine.
Able to read blueprints
Set up and operate Bridgeport milling machine
Operate plasma cutting machine
Problem Solving:
Streamlined problem solving
Assignments are received through a work order and prints.
Welders are preprogrammed to perform the welding duties.
Extruding dies and punch dips are provided.
Required Materials:
Steel-toe safety footwear mandatory
Safety glasses w/ side shield*
Hearing protection mandatory (provided by Core Pipe)
*Safety glasses provided unless employee wears prescription.
*Prescription safety glasses must be OSHA-approved with side shields.
