Building Janitor

Hours: 6:00AM - 2:30PM | Monday - Friday

Essential Job Functions:

  • To keep manufacturing plant (building and ground) clean and safe. 

  • Complying with company’s standards.

  • Will also be provided with forklift training.

Duties Breakdown:

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with maintenance equipment – floor scrubber etc.

  • Forklift experience a plus

  • Effective communicator

  • Reliability

  • Quality of work

  • Safety awareness

Required Personal Protection:

  • Steel toe safety footwear mandatory.

  • Standard safety glasses w/side shields – company provides. Prescription safety glasses must be approved by OSHA standard and have side shields.

  • Hearing protection mandatory - company provides.

*Safety glasses provided unless employee wears prescription.

*Prescription safety glasses must be OSHA-approved with side shields.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting – Rarely

  • Standing - Often

  • Bending/Stooping – Routinely

  • Pushing/Pulling – Occasionally

  • Lifting under 10 lbs. - Often
